  • Age:
    • There is no upper age limit for candidates employed in Private Institutions. For Govt. employed candidates, the upper age limit is 53 years, unless special permission is obtained from DHS/JS(N)/Secretary (N).
  • Eligibility Criteria for Admission
    • Candidate must passed 4 year B.Sc Nursing /B.Sc (Hons) Nursing or 2 Year Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) from any INC Recognized Institution and affiliated to any recognized University securing atleast 55% marks in aggregate ( passed in both theory & Practical separately)
    • Working Experience-
      • Govt. Employee: Minimum of 3 years working experience after publication of result. "Letter of Permission" is required at the time of admission.
      • Private Employee: If B.Sc (N)/B.Sc Hon (N)/ Post Basic B.Sc (N)/Post Basic B.Sc Hon (N - Minimum 1 year working Experience.
      • Distance Education- Minimum 2 Year working Experience.
    • Admission to Reserve Category seats is restricted to students domiciled in West Bengal only.
    • Domicile Certificate is essential for Admission in Reserved category seat.
    • Candidates must be Medically Fit for the course and to produce Medical Fitness Certificate as per format provided by WBJEEB.
    • Candidate claiming admission in reserved category must produce Relevant Certificate issued from Competent Authorities during Counseling and Admission etc. If certificate id found invalid, the candidate will lose opportunity for admission in reserve category.
  • Admission Procedure
    • The candidates have to Register at the official website of WBJEEB and apply online Application form for "Common Joint Entrance Test for JEMScN" with payment of Examination Fees.
    • Candidate qualifying JEMScN Entrance Examination shall download their Rank Card and to follow the counseling schedule.
    • The candidate has to do "Registration" for Online Counselling process, followed by Choice Filling by selecting Nursing Institutes in the order of his/her priority & Choice Locking.
    • The Candidate, on "Seat Allotment" after payment of Online Seat Acceptance Fees, shall download "Seat Allotment Letter", and to Physically Report to the Allotted Institution with all Original Documents and Xerox for documents verification and complete the Admission Procedure.
