ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Age: The candidate's age must be atleast 17 (Seventeen) years to maximum age of 35 years, as on 31st December of the same year of the session.

  • Eligibility Criteria for Admission
    • Must passed “10+2” examination  (passed in both Theory & Practical separately) from any recognized Board  with atleast 40% marks in aggregate
    • Must passed in English with atleast 40% marks in “10+2” examination
    • Candidate passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from any of the following three discipline- a) Health Care  Science       b) Agriculture       c)Home Science
    • Candidate shall be the citizen of India.  Shall be the permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for atleat 5(five) years till of the same year of the session. Have to submit Domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority (as per Proforma 1 & 2 provided by WBJEEB).
    • Candidates must be Medically Fit for the course and to produce Medical Fitness Certificate as per format provided by WBJEEB
    • Candidate claiming admission in reserved category must produce relevant Certificate issued from competent Authorities during counseling and Admission etc. If certificate is found invalid, the candidate will lose opportunity for admission in reserve category.
  • Admission Procedure
    • The candidate has to Register at the official website of WBJEEB and apply online Application form for “Common Joint Entrance Test for Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (Revised) and General Nursing & Midwifery (ANM(R)& GNM)” with payment of Examination Fees.
    • Candidate qualifying ANM(R) & GNM entrance examination shall download their Rank Card and to follow the counseling schedule.
    • The candidate has to do “Registration” for Online Counselling process, followed by Choice Filling by selecting Nursing Institutes in the order of his/her priority & Choice Locking.
    • The Candidate, on “Seat Allotment” after payment of Online Seat Acceptance Fees, shall download “Seat Allotment Letter”, and to Physically Report to the  Allotted Institution with all Original Documents and Xerox for documents verification and complete the Admission Procedure.

  • Fees:
    • Clinical Fees-  An fees of Rs. 100/- per month per student and Rs 500/- per month per Intern student to be paid to concern Govt. Hospitals as per order of Govt. of West Bengal, Directorate of Health Services, Swasthya Bhawan.
    • Registration Fees: The students have to pay to WBNC Rs. 130 per student for Registration in First year and Rs 1030/- per student after passing out for Final RNRM Registration certificate.
    • Examination Fees: The student have to pay to WBNC Rs. 530/- as examination fees for appearing in final Examination of each year.
